Comments:
IanI and I hit up the Rincon once again, but this time earlier. Even though we were an hour and a half earlier, it was more crowded than yesterday. By this time the swell had filled in fully and it was turning into a good day at the Rincon. Wasit to Chest High waves, with frequent Head High sets and some Overhead sets. We sat at the indicator and caught a few short rides, they were closing out a lot more than yesterday where we sat, so we were forced at times to join the giant pack that was waiting out sets that would make it around the corner and past the Rivermouth. I had my longest Rincon ride of the season, making well around the corner but still not hitting the goal of getting past the Rivermouth.Blue Camo kid was out there again, getting some of the best and longest rides out there. IanI had a few friends out there and they headed towards the Rivermouth so I surfed there for some time. Down there it was smaller and doing funny things with the high tide, but was less crowded. I caught a few waves down here to build up the wave count and confidence and then walked back up and paddled out past the indicator. Surfed here for a long time with IanI and at one point he disapeared. When he came back he had the hugest smile on his face from his ride and yelled to me from 20 yards away through the lineup "that is why we surf!"
