Baja California, the southern sister to our great state. Evoking visions of sunny skies, offroad sandtraps, warm and uncrowded waves, road washouts and flooded vados, all within a few days drive for the low-budget traveller. For some it means a daily across-the-border jaunt, or perhaps a spring break party scene. For others it can mean months of open-ended travel or despair in the dirt.
